Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed regarding the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is mainly because of the lack of click here infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to website service the area daily. The services stage made for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to sassa help the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
